NOTE:
If sliding a bearing on or pushing the rod into a plate or collar seems a little difficult, check to see if the edges are burred from the cutting process. To make fitting of the rod easier, simply use some emery paper or sandpaper to deburr – placing the rod in a drill and spinning the rod while sanding works great.
